The voice acting is as superb as you’d expect from a Telltale game and features the talents of Troy Baker, Nolan North, Chris Hardwick, Patrick Warburton and more. Starring a group of Marines, who are forced to go on an asteroid survey, encountering aliens and dangerous creatures that inhabit the alien waters of their home planet.
The game is designed as a tactical Strategy, where you have to control a squad of fighters and perform tasks related to battles or solving puzzles. The weird setting, the slow but yet intense combat, the captain dialogue sections, the resource management aspect and the marine customization, all these elements combined together make for quite the experience and make this a title I consider worthy of checking out. Pandora’s environments and the character models look great but the game still suffers from occasionally robotic animation, most notably during the more action packed sequences. The sci-fi setting of Tales from the Void is filled with futuristic technology that humanity has come to in an alternate time-space of 1916.
Each tale constitutes a prequel to the game and focuses on a different element of its backstory, giving one an insight into the world of Dishonored prior to the games release.
